We took Abe to the O-Boro ER last night (didn't get in until after 3 a.m.)and to the Dr. (we left out before 8:30 a.m.)this morning. They did chest x-rays (will have to repeat x-rays in 4 weeks if everything goes as planned) and said he has pleurisy caused by pneumonia. He also has an ear infection. He is taking an antibiotic and breathing treatments and is suppose to take Motrin. He doesn't do well with any of it! Please pray that his lungs will heal soon and that he will take his meds without much of a fuss. We are all worn out from lack of sleep and from being worried about him.

Bless your hearts! I can't believe Abe is sick again. I wonder if his ears ever totally cleared up from before. He may need allergy testing!
Scrapped till after midnight. I'll call tomorrow.

Maddie is upset about Abe being sick again. We hope he gets better soon. She wants him to come watch her play basketball. She also said when you write the post to tell us he is cured, spell it "pleurisy".
