27 deaths in Kentucky attributed to storm

Associated PressTwenty-seven deaths have been attributed to storm-related causes around Kentucky, with details and dates where available:--

Jefferson County: 4 -- a 55-year-old man on Jan. 31 from carbon monoxide from a charcoal grill, a 63-year-old man, 54-year-old woman and a 46-year-old woman on Jan. 30 from carbon monoxide from a generator

Webster County: 4 -- 2 men heart attacks, one while moving broken branches; another while a person was shoveling snow on Jan. 31; 1 man on Jan. 27 from carbon monoxide in a running vehicle; 1 where an ambulance couldn't reach victim

Calloway County: 1 -- a man died of hypothermia

Carter County: 3 -- a 4-year-old boy on Jan. 29 from a vehicle wreck, a man on Jan. 30 in a vehicle wreck, an 88-year-old man on Jan. 27 of hypothermia after being found in an unheated house

Harrison County: 2 -- a 64-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman on Jan. 29 from carbon monoxide from a generator

Johnson County: 2 -- an oxygen-dependent person's home lost power, and a person had a heart attack while cutting tree limbs

Barren County: 1 -- a 93-year-old woman on Jan. 30 burned while huddled near a space heater-

Boyd County: 1 -- a 62-year-old woman on Jan. 27 from hypothermia after wandering away from her house

Christian County: 1 -- a 76-year-old man on Jan. 29 from carbon monoxide from a generator--

Graves County: 1 -- a 26-year-old man on Feb. 1 from carbon monoxide from a generator--

Hardin County: 1 -- a 74-year-old woman on Jan. 30 from hypothermia after being found in a trailer with no heat

Hopkins County: 1 -- an 85-year-old man on Jan. 28 of hypothermia after being found in home with no heat

Nelson County: 1 -- an 87-year-old woman on Jan. 28 who fell while carrying a space heater--

Ohio County: 1 -- a woman died when an ambulance couldn't get to house

Owen County: 1 -- a 47-year-old man on Jan. 29 of carbon monoxide from a faulty space heater

Trigg County: 1 -- a 53-year-old man on Jan. 30 after a fire from an alternate heat source--

Wayne County: 1 -- a 37-year-old woman on Jan. 28 from drowning and hypothermia after her car slid into water
