Monday we went to Nashville to see Chad's Neurologist. Taking a 2 1/2 year old on this type of trip is quite the experience. He doesn't like to ride that long and then there is nap time. It just so happens that nap time is right about the same time as the appointment!! Fun fun. Me and Abe had to sneak out of the exam room after a few minutes. He was just a little too noisy. We did get to visit a farmers market right across the street from the doctors office. Of course we brought home a couple of small pumpkins and a gourd. Abe is starting to collect fall decor! (By the way, the bigger pumpkins did finally make it outdoors)!
Yesterday me, Nana and Abe went shopping in Evansville. Abe had practically no fall/winter clothes and Nana was needing some new dress clothes. Surprisingly we had lots of luck. You know when you are looking and planning to buy you normally can't find anything. Abe is ready for the cooler weather! The carousel was enjoyed by all of us. Even if Abe never made it on a horse! He said he was scared! We ended up riding the gondola. He was worn out on the way home and was asleep before we could get out of Evansville. We missed church because he was Still asleep!
Today we are taking it easy. I asked him if he wanted to go to Story Time and he said he just wanted to stay home! Poor baby. He hasn't got to rest all week.
