We went for a short trip to the Smoky Mountains a few days ago. While there we visited the local ER! Not that it is a scenic place or anything.
First let me start by saying that Abe LOVES to ride on Chad's shoulders. While monkeying (is that a word?) around Chad accidentally runs Abe into a concrete beam.
Abe starts screaming and crying, I panic and grab him up and go straight to our room. He has a scape right above his eye and a bruise above that. We immediately go to the ER to get him checked out. Thank goodness he was just banged up and not anything more.This is a picture of the beam that he hit. As you can see it is right off of the elevator, which they ducked their heads for!

Atleast if was an eventful trip! Glad you guys could get away...it's nice to go and take a deep breath every once in awhile.
It was nice to get away. If only I could have had a girlie to go shopping with. The Guys in my life are NOT shoppers!!
It seems that the ER is the mountains is a popular place. My family visits there regularly! Steve did Buzzy the same was with a scooter once. He was going to be cute and pop a wheely, but Buzzy didn't lean and the handle knocked him in the forehead! These daddies! What are we going to do with them??
