Lovin the games

While we were on our mini vacation getaway we ate at the local Mr. Gatti's Pizza place. Abe loved the games that we played after lunch. It is so fun to watch him play and actually doing it right!

It amazes me that at only 2 years old (will be celebrating his 3rd birthday in March) he can do the things he can. I know that all Mommy's think their kids are smart, but he really is! Trust me, he doesn't get that from me. Thank God for Chad's smartness (is that a word???)

I get a little worried with the motorcycle. He likes it a little too much! Too dangerous for me to think about him on one, one of these days!

They had a kids size air hockey game and it was perfect for him. Mom and Dad even got in on this game!

Of course, he still loves the rides. Posted by Picasa

Christmas Lights

Here are a few pictures of the Christmas Lights in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. They aren't the best pictures, but you get the idea of how pretty they are. The last picture is of the place that we stayed.

Motor Trail

We went on a Motor Trail ride and enjoyed the beautiful fall weather. The leaves were awesome. Me and Abe picked up several large leaves and brought them home. What for I really have no idea, just what he wanted to do. Maybe we will put them in a binder or something.??

We got to walk in some old log cabins and stroll down by the creeks. The water was very peaceful, but looked very very cold! We didn't even stick a toe in it this trip.

First time for everything!

We went for a short trip to the Smoky Mountains a few days ago. While there we visited the local ER! Not that it is a scenic place or anything.

First let me start by saying that Abe LOVES to ride on Chad's shoulders. While monkeying (is that a word?) around Chad accidentally runs Abe into a concrete beam. Abe starts screaming and crying, I panic and grab him up and go straight to our room. He has a scape right above his eye and a bruise above that. We immediately go to the ER to get him checked out. Thank goodness he was just banged up and not anything more.

This is a picture of the beam that he hit. As you can see it is right off of the elevator, which they ducked their heads for!
