Party pics
I didn't get very many good pictures at the party because I was having to help Abe with opening gifts and all but I did get these of the kiddos.
Birthday Boy
Here is the little wild Birthday Boy! Can you tell we really need a haircut??? Hopefully we will be visiting Ronda this week to get a little trimmed off. The birthday party went really good. We had a nice time with family and friends. We did miss some due to the flu. (We missed you Missy, Ashley, Bobby, Makayla.)
The last picture was of Abe testing out the cupcakes before the party. I had gone down to the church to take some things prior to the party and Abe was lovin all the John Deere decorations! He kept saying "Look Mommy at all the tractors," not realizing they were his from home.
He got so many nice presents and loved each and every one of them! Okay, I liked the clothes more than he did but that is normal! ha ha We appreciate everyone celebrating our little guy with us. What will the theme be next year?? We have had a farm theme, Caillou and now John Deere. I am sure he will be into some cartoon theme again next year.
A special Thank You to Marla for all of your hard work. I really appreciate all that you did to make the party run so smooth and for the cleaning up afterwards!

Afternoon with Maddie
We got to pick Maddie up from Preschool yesterday. Abe has been wanting to pick her up for some time now. We picked her up several times last year but this is the first for this school year. It is a big deal to be the first child picked up in the pick up line. The teacher brings them out to your car. So, being the good aunt that I am I got in line at 1:35 and we waited until 2:15 when school was dismissed.
I let Abe out of his carseat since we were going to be sitting there for a while. He played and climbed into the very back of the car. The he yells out "I gotta poop!" We have worked really hard at potty training and we were about to ruin it! He had on his nice green boxer briefs, jeans and tennis shoes. (I mention all of the clothes because he is one of these kids that has to take off everything below the waist to use the bathroom.) I quickly hopped to the backseat and put him on a pull up diaper. He must have thought I was a crazy woman. He told me he didn't want to poopie in a diaper. After reassuring him that it was okay he finally did. Poor thing. He only poops on his little potty at home so I didn't even try to take him into Maddie's school.
Last night and all day long today we have gone back to using the potty. I am one proud Momma!

3 for 1 Party
Friday night we celebrated Valentine's Day, Chad Guffy's 28th Birthday, and Anniversary's (Mine and Chad's 11th Anniversary and Dad and Cathy's 23rd Anniversary) with a party at the Vinson's. I was so happy to get to see everyone. I haven't seen my nephews in over a month! With everyone being sick we haven't been able to visit. Last month was when Abe went to the Dr. weekly for 4 weeks!
So, the kiddos had a great time running around Pa and Grammy's house like a bunch of wild animals. Maddie tried on her flower girl dress for Aunt B and Grant's wedding. It looked adorable on her. As you can see in the 3rd picture. Dawson was so sweet escorting her down the stairway. Isaiah had been chowing down on a teething biscuit in his picture.(no steak, baked potato and salad for him!) The bigger boys were playing peek a boo through the banister. (Is that what it is

Cathy snapped this picture right before we left their house. Abe wasn't wanting to leave and had been crying.

Valentine's
These are the Valentine's that Nana brought to Abe.
He loves anything pertaining to crafts so he was in heaven.
These are from Pa and Grammy.
Kisses, his favorite!
We were being goofy with the camera. I thought this one was sweet. I do not get to be on the other side of the camera very often because I am always the photographer.
Notice the chubby cheeks? He had 2 Hershey Kisses in his mouth!
His Mamaw and Papaw sent him a Valentine in the mail but it hasn't got here yet. We will be checking the mail for it tomorrow. Abe loves to get mail. Mamaw and Papaw Steele also sent him a Valentine card.
We have had a nice Valentine's Day and we appreciate everything that Abe got and the love that everyone shows him.
Happy Anniversary!
Today Chad and I are celebrating our 11th Anniversay! I can't believe it has been 11 years. As you can see by the photos (these are pictures of the pictures, our scanner doesn't work) we have changed. Some more than others. I won't even go into details about all of the funny things in these pictures, you can laugh to yourself. Remember people this was 11 years ago, Feb. 15, 1997! Things were different back then.
Happy Anniversary to my sweet husband! I love you very much and thank you for being a good Husband and a wonderful Father!

Reading with Papaw
Chad's Mom hasn't been feeling good so we decided to go for a visit. Abe always enjoys his room and all of his toys. Papaw got to read him several books which is Abe's favorite thing.
When they moved they had an extra bedroom that has now been labeled as Abraham's. He will let you know it too! Mamaw even put up a John Deere curtain. At Nana's Abe thinks the extra room is Maddie's so this makes him feel special at Mamaw and Papaw's.
We stopped by and saw Granny Sarah (Chad's grandmother.) She lives right down the street from Chad's parents so we actually have to pass her house to get to theirs. It would have been bad of us to not visit for a few minutes.
Abe fell asleep on the way home (before 8:00) and slept a couple of hours. Then he was going full force until sometime after 2 am!!!!!!!!! That is the problem with him going to sleep early. You never know if he will sleep until the next morning or wake up with a very long and powerful power nap. This happened to be a power nap. We did make him go to bed around midnight. He just played around with a flashlight and watched cartoons.
We had a good visit with all of the family and made it home safe. Chad's Mom is having some more tests run to try and find out what is going on with her back. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers please.
